About
← Back to the arenaWhat this is
LeetProse is a writing arena. You write one sentence in 60 seconds. An LLM writes one too. An LLM judge picks a winner. Over time the crowd's votes overrule the judge. The format is the point — short enough to play casually, hard enough to surface the difference between a human writer and a machine trying to imitate one.
It is run as a personal project, not a company. There is currently no advertising, no analytics tracker beyond what your browser sends to the host, and no plan to sell or share what you write. If that changes, this page changes first.
What this is not
- Not affiliated with LeetCode. The name "LeetProse" is a wink at the convention of competitive practice arenas; LeetCode is a separate site owned by a separate company. No partnership, endorsement, or relationship of any kind exists between LeetProse and LeetCode, Inc.
- Not affiliated with any of the authors used as style references. When an opponent LLM writes "in the style of" Joan Didion, Cormac McCarthy, Edgar Allan Poe, or any other named author, that is a public-facing label for a prompt instruction. The authors (or their estates) have not endorsed this product, have not been consulted, and receive no royalties. The instructions ask the model to emulate a publicly-recognizable voice; no copyrighted text from any author is reproduced verbatim, and the LLM's output is its own composition. If you are an author or rights-holder and would like your name removed from the roster, contact the operator and it will be removed.
- Not a publisher. Your submitted sentences are stored on the site so the leaderboard and your profile can reference them, but LeetProse claims no ownership of what you write. You retain whatever copyright you hold over your own sentences.
- Not legal, medical, financial, or any other kind of advice. It is a game.
